For Substack writers · Embeds · AI drafts · Publish & schedule

Everything around
your Substack, in one studio.

Branded subscribe forms, modern popups, a live newsfeed of your Substack posts, AI drafts from articles you saved — and one-click publish or schedule directly to Substack. No second bill, no second login, no CDN lock-in. You own the embed code; it lives on your site, not ours.

7-day refund · Cancel anytime · Embeds work without connecting Substack

The problem

You shouldn't need five tools and three bills
to send a newsletter.

Most writers cobble together a subscribe form, a popup tool, another writing app, a research tab graveyard, and Substack itself — paying for each one, maintaining each one, losing subscribers between each one. Quillo collapses that stack.

Multiple bills, fragmented stack

Form tool, popup tool, AI writer, scheduler — each with its own subscription. Quillo is one studio at one price.

Your site doesn't capture readers

Without a branded subscribe form, every visitor is a missed subscriber — and a missed future income stream.

Great reads die in your tabs

You save articles you mean to share. Quillo turns them into a digest with AI — your weekly issue, almost written for you.

Embed templates

Forms that match your brand —
not Substack's default.

Sixteen+ ready-to-style templates. Every color, font, radius, and copy field is editable. Paste one snippet on any site, anywhere.

Built for

Writers, curators,
site owners who don't write — yet.

01

The weekly digester

You save smart things all week. Quillo's library + AI turns the pile into a polished digest — you edit, push, done.

02

The new Substack creator

Want to monetize what you know? Spin up Substack, drop a Quillo subscribe form on your site, and you're collecting paid subscribers.

03

The site owner without a newsletter

If your traffic doesn't subscribe to anything, you're leaving compounding readership — and revenue — on the floor. A 30-second embed fixes it.

From blank page to
ready-to-publish draft.

A workflow so tight it feels like cheating. Built for writers who refuse to copy-paste.

01

Drop your URL

Quillo wires the subscribe endpoint. No Substack login needed for embeds.

02

Style & paste

Pick a template, dial in your colors. Copy the snippet. Live on your site.

03

Save reads + draft

Save links with the extension. Ask AI to draft your weekly digest.

04

Publish or schedule

Push as draft, publish instantly, or schedule for the morning send.

Trust & safety

Your Substack login never leaves your control.

Quillo connects to Substack with an encrypted session token — stored server-side, end-to-end encrypted, and used only when you explicitly push, publish, or schedule. Disconnect anytime and the token is purged.

  • End-to-end encrypted Substack session tokens
  • Row-level security on every database table
  • Every push lands as a Substack draft by default — you decide what goes live
  • Subscribe forms post directly to Substack — no middleman list, no double opt-in surprises
  • Your embed code is plain HTML on your site — no CDN lock-in, remove anytime
  • Lead-magnet downloads served over signed URLs — only delivered after confirmed subscribe
  • Audit log of every publish, schedule, and draft action

  • Works on any site, in any Chromium browser
  • One token from Quillo Settings, stored in browser local storage

Keep your Substack session alive

FAQ · Substack timing & data

What to expect when you connect Substack.

Where exactly does ‘publish’ go?

+

Always to Substack. Quillo doesn't host posts — we push to your Substack via your connected account. Drafts land in your Substack drafts, scheduled posts use Substack's own scheduler, and instant publish goes live on your Substack publication.

Is scheduling really running on Substack?

+

Yes. When you pick a date/time, we hand the schedule to Substack — the email is sent from Substack's infrastructure, with your sender reputation, at the time you chose. You can unschedule from either Quillo or directly inside Substack.

How fast do new subscribers appear in my Substack list?

+

Subscribe submissions hit Substack's API the moment a reader confirms. Substack's own list/dashboard typically reflects new subscribers within a few minutes, but during peak hours it can take 5–30 minutes for the count to fully reconcile on their side. The subscriber is still queued — just give Substack a beat.

The newsfeed shows old posts — why?

+

The newsfeed renders from a snapshot you control. Open the Newsfeed Builder and hit ‘Refresh posts’ to pull the latest from your Substack. This is by design: a snapshot means zero live API calls on every visitor (faster pages, no rate-limit surprises).

If I publish from Quillo, when does the email actually send?

+

‘Publish now’ flips your post live on Substack immediately. Substack then queues the email blast — which, depending on list size, can take a few minutes to begin sending. This is identical to publishing inside Substack directly.

Do I have to connect Substack to use Quillo?

+

No. The embed studio, popups, lead magnets, and newsfeed all work without ever connecting Substack — your subscribe forms still post directly to your publication via the public subscribe endpoint. Connect Substack only when you want AI-drafted publishing and scheduling.

If I uninstall Quillo, do my embeds break?

+

No. Forms keep posting to Substack's public subscribe endpoint, which doesn't go through us. Newsfeed and popup widgets do call back to our renderer — if you ever leave, just remove the snippet. Your audience and your Substack are unaffected.

Where are my Substack credentials stored?

+

Your Substack session token is encrypted server-side and only decrypted in-memory when you explicitly trigger a publish, schedule, or draft push. Disconnect from Settings and the token is purged.
